      Mi Tig Wa Ki Trail
         The entrance to the parking lot is on 26th street just off 25th Avenue. 
          Be careful, there are two entrances between 25th Avenue andMaple
          Avenue.  We will be meeting in the parking lot closer to 25th Avenue.

Walking North from the parking lot, you'll pass the bike path, on the way to Salt Creek.  Follow the trail West (left) at the water's edge.  Cross over 25th Avenue and follow the creek until you reach LaGrange Road.  Follow the bike path until you get to 31st Street.  You'll have to stay on 31st street for a little while - just until you get to the stoplight at Mayfair.  Go South on the trail several hundred yards until you reach the West branch.

Continue West  to the Bemis Woods North picnic area.  You'll cross a dirt road and a steel bridge to get to the picnic shelter and toboggan slide.  Snack time!  Bring your own since there's no stores around.

To get back to the parking lot head Southeast along the parking area to the bike trail sign.   Follow the trail and cross the creek at Wolf Road.  Finish the loop and return to the 26th Street parking lot the same way you came out.
